Majors is a not for profit community of 21st century philosophers in the making. To Major in life is our endeavor. It involves discovering our true selves, identifying our passions, pursuing a profession that matches our strengths, developing skills and above all, it means giving ourselves a strong reason for being. The term philosopher comes from an ancient Greek word philosophos; which means 'lover of wisdom'. Knowledge is being aware of facts and figures. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge effectively with the strength of judgment acquired from experience. We at Majors believe in the application of knowledge effectively and lead a purposeful life that gives us a strong reason for our being.We understand that life is a combination of time, energy, knowledge, wisdom and is dictated by fate. Effective solutions to global problems lie in how well local problems are addressed at the grass root levels of our communities.
