Historically, the power of design has only been available to those who can afford it, meaning it's largely been unattainable by 90% of the world's population. But these are the same people who need design the most. We provide solutions for this overlooked population by tackling the problems they face every day.Our goals:• To design a better Washington, D.C., for every man, woman, and child.• To preserve and restore our natural environment for generations to come.• To empower everyone to MakeDC a better city through design.MakeDC is a not-for-profit Benefit Corporation (B Corp), bridging the gap between nonprofit initiative and for-profit enterprise.
