The Makers – Stories, Cocktails & Events. In 2012, The Makers was launched as an events company. It created exclusive nights in various makers' workshops around London such as Beavertown Brewery, Bermondsey Gin and Nude Espresso. In 2015, The Makers launched an online magazine that publishes weekly. It uncovers unique stories from remarkable people; people that you probably don't know yet but will love learning more about. Be it the extraordinary story about a woman who became a champion body builder in the wake of her brother's suicide to an artist who is reconfiguring the art world through computer coding. Discover a new portrait each week of people in Berlin, Dublin, Glasgow London and The United States. Gain an intriguing insight into their world and understand what makes them tick. In 2016, we introduced cocktail recipes to the magazine. We work with Laura Molloy of MONIN, a champion cocktail maker with years of experience in the industry. Her ingenuity with ingredients will inspire you. We believe that people should take time out for themselves to enjoy a good read, a delicious cocktail or by attending one of our events.
