Affordable artists' studios and coworking/events space functioning as a base of operations for Makers' Yard Collective CIC. The Collective is a growing cultural programme of workshops, screenings, exhibitions, and talks. We explore new parameters for cultural production in our local creative community and support its progressive, forward-thinking mindset. We facilitate a broad range of artistic and curatorial practices, spotlighting emerging and experimental technologies.We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to engage with and participate in contemporary art and culture. We are actively working to ensure our collective does not reinforce or exacerbate systemic barriers to the arts.We are establishing a culture of collaboration and cross-pollination of ideas and practices. As a collective, we reimagine ways of learning, thinking, and making, blurring the lines between disciplines.
