Ever since I was a little girl I've had a passion for makeup, So when the time came for me to finish school and venture off into the world to do what I love, that's exactly what I did. I attended CMA Training Group and studied Certificate IV in Makeup Services which gave me a taste of life in the makeup world. I was fortunate enough to have some incredibly talented teachers who taught me so much about the art of applying makeup, and in just a few short months I was able to professionally do all the beautiful looks I had been waiting such a long time to do.Once I had graduated from CMA, I decided to follow my recently discovered passion all the way to Los Angeles. Who better to learn from than the masterminds of Hollywood makeup, right? So I packed up my things and ventured across the world for the very first time on my own where I studied at Cinema Makeup School. I had enrolled in a one week Creature Sculpting course where I used this as a chance to create a mock up version of the character I intended to make in my upcoming class in Advanced Special Effects. In the advanced Special Effects course we had four weeks to design and build a full face and neck multi piece prosthetic appliance complete with a set of teeth. After walking in on my first day I quickly realised I was in way over my head & I had signed up for something much harder than I had anticipated. I was the only newbie in a class who were already halfway through their masters & flying under the radar was pretty hard when I was the only one who spoke like Crocodile Dundee & I just couldn't keep my cool after realising my teacher had worked on Walking Dead. LUCKILY I was taken under the wing of some pretty amazing people who would help me survive the next four weeks. As the course progressed, & the more it challenged me in ways I never thought possible, the more it just further cemented my love & drive to revolve my life around it - which is exactly what I've done every day since.
