Kay began her study of Floral Design in the late 80's in SF. She has completed the Floral Design Certificate program at SF City College, studied and accomplished teacher status in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana and has been granted the flower name Hokei. She is a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and a California Certified Florist (CCF).
