Making Authentic Friendships is an app that enables individuals with special needs to make friends based on age, diagnosis, interests and geographic location. We serve an array of diagnoses, both intellectual and physical. Making Authentic Friendships, MAF, are also my brothers initials, he is 22 has autism and ADHD and inspired this infinitive. The majority of our users have autism, but we also serve a large amount of users with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Bifida, ADHD, Hearing Impairment, Sight Impairment, Epilepsy and more. Our mission is to end the isolation gap for individuals with special needs, extinguish loneliness and the negative affects that come with it and make the lives of individuals with special needs easier. These individuals have so many struggles daily, making friends shouldn't be one of them. Everyone deserves someone.
