Making Every Vote Count is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that believes that the people should select the President of the United States through a national popular vote. We advocate for reforms that ensure that every vote cast in a presidential election counts—and counts equally—in determining who becomes President. We believe that allocating electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote will inspire civic engagement across the United States by ensuring that the voices of all voters—not just voters in battleground states—are reflected in presidential campaigns and in the candidate who ultimately assumes office. We seek to invigorate a national movement behind this important election reform issue through voter education and national awareness.
