As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is moving fast towards Vision 2030, the government is targeting to enhance the private sector's contribution to the Kingdom's GDP (from 40 percent to 65 percent). One of the most effective methods is Public Private Partnership (PPP).PPPs enable the public sector to harness the expertise and efficiencies from the (Private Sector) to bring them to certain projects traditionally procured and delivered by the public sector.Emirate of Makkah Province realized the necessity of adopting the most effective international methods to support development. Therefore, Integration Development Center (IDC) was established in 2015 by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Province, to increase the use of PPPs, and as a result accelerate the progress of development.In fact, it is imperative that Emirate of Makkah Province benefit from all the global experiences that have raised other societies to the current level of cultural, scientific and economic progress.
