Makonnen Financial Group, LLC ("MFG") was founded in 2003. MFG was established with a mission to facilitate individuals' desired quality of life through financial planning and education. We understand that everyone's life plans differ. MFG also recognizes each client as a "client for life". That is why we foster and nurture close relationships with our clients. In doing so, we hope to maximize the benefits of what financial planning means to each of them. We not only create comprehensive life plans but through the planning process, we also educate our clients on what their financial future can look like, as well as help them lay the groundwork for the legacy that they often hope to leave behind. At MFG, we take our time to design our clients' lives through value-based and custom-tailored financial planning.In addition to providing services in our office, we also reach out to the community and host educational seminars and workshops to teach people more about financial literacy covering such topics as Social Security, Medicare, retirement planning, insurance planning and investment planning. Our Founder, Yihaies ("Mike") Makonnen strongly believes in the value of education and is committed to teaching clients more about their financial future.As an independent wealth planning firm, we can work with many different companies in the areas of investment, life insurance, and long-term care insurance. After closely assessing a client's need and objectives, we can pursue the most suitable products available.
