The Malawi Orphan Ministries (MOMS) mission is to take the remedy of Jesus Christ to the at-risk orphans of Malawi, Africa. This is accomplished through providing clean drinking water, nutritional food, shelter, medical care, and education to the orphans living in the rural villages of Malawi.The MOMS Care Village in Salima is the base of all in-country operations. The Care Village is home to 23 orphan children who receive three warm meals daily, medical care, and an education. In addition to these children, MOMS is also feeding an additional 500 children daily through its feeding program ministry.In Sub-Sahara Africa, a child under the age of 5 dies every 21 seconds from a water borne disease. To meet this need, MOMS drills water wells throughout the rural villages. To date, MOMS has drilled 60 wells that are providing water to over 23,000 Malawians.
