About Mama Africa Pendo:Mama Africa Pendo is a small Community Based Organization(CBO), founded by Mary Njeru in March 2015, which is committed to serving people in Mathare slum (Nairobi, Kenya). We dedicate our services to children and women in several fields; education, medical and psychological counselling, launching small businesses and helping them grow.About the Founder:Mary is the founder of Mama Africa Pendo, wife and mother of five kids. She has been living in Mathare for seven years and is trusted by many. Before settling in Mathare, Mary was a General Manager of a five stars hotel in Tanzania. Mary believes that she can do more, by helping those who are in need, back home. And that's how Mama Africa Pendo's journey started!She moved to Mathare, opened Mama Africa Pendo's kindergarten and started with education projects. As the year passed, Mary earned the people's trust and expanded the organization's services to medical & psychological counseling as well as women empowerment.Enable us to transform our words to action, there is no such thing called a small contribution, every contribution matters.
