Moving away from home for University can be a daunting experience and that's where our society steps in! Manchester Hindu Society aspires to be your 'home away from home' no matter what year of study you are in. We unite students from universities across Manchester, constantly extending our strong and vibrant community.From our weekly Aartis to our socials, sports and Sewa events to our flagship Diwali ball, there will always be something in our calendar for you to get involved in! Our ultimate purpose is to protect, preserve, practice and promote Hindu Dharma amongst the student population, and through our events, hope to bring our members together to embrace and learn more about our culture.We take great pride in being one of the 45 chapters that make up the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF) which allows us to take part in the Zonal & National Sports Competitions & North Zone Garba.
