The Mandel Leadership Institute aims to cultivate educational and social leadership for Israel's diverse communities and professional fields. One of the five units of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation–Israel, the Institute was founded in 1990and brings together talented people with big ideas. It recruits committed individuals with the drive and capacity to lead, and provides them with the tools to define and implement their vision, to deliberate profoundly on their past and future practice, and to establish and lead social and educational institutions.The Institute's current programs include:• Mandel Programs for Leadership Development in the Haredi Community• Mandel Youth Leadership Program• Mandel Program for Leadership in Jewish Culture• Mandel Program for Academic Leadership in Teacher Education• Mandel IDF Educational Leadership ProgramThe Mandel Leadership Institute is housed in the Mandel Foundation's headquarters in Jerusalem.
