Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Kenya Details
The Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Kenya is the local alumni chapter of the Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF). MWF is the flagship leadership program of former U.S President Barrack Obama that seeks to identify and empower the next generation of young African leaders. The Kenya alumni chapter seeks to uphold the values of MWF, by creating a forum for the alumni to engage with each other and the community to create positive change and impact. It also serves as a point of contact between the fellows and the U.S Embassy (Kenya) as well as affiliated partners such as USAID and IREX.The Kenya alumni chapter was registered in 2017 as a not for profit trust in accordance with relevant laws of Kenya. All fellows from Kenya who have successfully completed the MWF program are eligible members.
