Rotaract is a global organisation that empowers students and young professionals aged 18 – 30 to create positive change in their local communities and around the world. Partnered with Rotary, there are approximately 210,000 Rotaractors in 9,100 clubs in 170 countries. Members have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities including social, professional and community events.Chartered in 2011 the club has made many achievements to date including:• Supporting youth mental health and homelessness in the Peel region through a number of fundraising events and projects.• Supporting the Cancer Council, participating in the Peel Relay for Life annually.• Collaborating with local schools in a recycling project for prosthetic limb manufacturing sent to 3rd world countries.• Seeing some of our members off overseas on cultural exchange programs.• Supporting International exchange students in our community.• Both participating in and facilitating Leadership camps for aspiring leaders.• Supporting people with disabilities through the Sailing into life project and Handicamp.We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month.
