Manila Business College Foundation: A Dream and A Reality \\The Manila Business College Foundation was just a dream and now a reality. It was envisioned by Dr. Thomas C.K.Chua, an educator, an economist, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a dreamer, and a positive thinker. The College was duly registered by the Securities and Exchange Commision on September 15, 2000 under SEC Reg. No. A200012891.\\The founder of the College is a holder of a Ph.D. degree in Business Management. He came to the Philippines in 1970 to establish several business establishments to help develop the Philippine economy. With his long stay in the Philippines, he found out that he could help young Filipino students more by establishing a business school. He wants to help young Filipinos acquire an adequate knowledge and skills in business management and become successful entrepreneurs who will be experts in managing their own business.\\This educator and philanthropist invited a group of Filipino experts to help him organize the Manila Business College Foundation. The group of experts organized the Board of Trustees with the Founder as the Honorary Chairman.\\When the Board of Trustees was already organized, Dr. Chua invited Dr. Pedro G. Villaflores, former Chief, Higher Education Division of CHED, NCR and retired Director of Region IV, Commission on Higher Education, to join the Manila Business College Foundation as its first President. Dr. Villaflores who admires a person with a big heart did not hesitate to accept the invitation. Since then, Manila Business College has produced some of the country's most successful entrepreneurs. Its vision is to continuously develop into an international university specializing in Business and Computer Education.\\Today, MBC continues to believe in giving quality education to develop individuals who will be competent and dedicated for the upliftment of the social and economic status of the graduates who are responsive to the needs of times.
