Mannifera is a space for those in the Australian philanthropic sector who partner with those in civil society working to:- restore public trust, transparency and fairness in democracy- increase the quality and diversity of our media and - address the structural causes of increasing economic inequality across Australian society.Members of the Mannifera funding collective recognise that Australia cannot achieve a complete democracy or an inclusive economy without addressing our long history of colonisation, instating the rights and respecting the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Mannifera supports and partners with civil society organisations, coalitions, campaigns and initiatives strongly aligned with four key focus areas.Fairness in political participation.Fairness and quality in public debate. A fair, accountable and open government. A fair and equitable tax system and social safety net. Mannifera members include private ancillary funds (PAFs), fund holders within public ancillary funds (PuAFs), charitable trusts and individuals.Mannifera exists through the philanthropic partnership between The Reichstein Foundation, Australian Communities Foundation and Philanthropy Australia.
