Established in 1920, Manor House School in Bookham is a selective independent (private) school for girls aged 4-16, with a co-educational nursery (for boys and girls). Operating as a day school between 7.45am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, Manor House is a smaller, nurturing school environment delivering great academic results and added value per pupil, with a passion for the performing arts. A member of the GSA (Girls' Schools Association). Founded in 1920 in Devon, the school moved to its' current site in the village of Bookham, Surrey in 1937. The magnificent country house is nestled in seventeen acres of magical gardens, woodland and sports fields. The happy, nurturing Preparatory School and thriving Senior School is complemented by excellent educational facilities and brought alive by the creative and positive energy of the girls that choose to learn here.
