Manthan is a non-profit annual international street theatre festival organized by Verve, the street-play society of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. It is a month-long festival where theatre teams from all over the world are invited to perform their productions, prepared on issues prevailing in our society, in their respective cities, with a motive to impress upon these issues.Started in 2008, it has grown to be the largest street theatre festival occurring in 11+ countries and panning out to 110+ locations covering 62 cities in India with a total reach of 18,00,000 where 3000 artists from 130 teams together strive for change.Manthan aims to reach out to the masses through theatre art forms.Manthan also presents the hymns from the streets through the medium of 'Nukkad Ki Aawaazein'. It is a cherished platform that preserves the words and the music and presents a souvenir for the participants for their diligence and standing up for a cause.
