A decade ago a group of missionaries were struggling to reconcile the existing missions paradigm with the changing global reality. The local church was not global and the missions agencies were all too narrowly focused. How could the global body be empowered to best steward the great commission? Empower the called! Today, more than ever, we are convinced that it is inside the called that the true treasure lies - not in the systems that exist to empower them. For this reason MAP Global exists as a "supporting agency" not a sending agency. MAP Global is designed to "come alongside" as a platform to those on their own unique journey with the Father.
