GREMLIN (Kenya) has developed a web-application called MapJam (www.mapjam.co.ke) to help internet users in Africa find things and events with a dedicated search platform. We do this by making it possible for anyone to perform or to sell wherever they see fit AND we make it rapidly-simple for people to find the things or talents they are searching for, when and where they wish. We automate the things that businesses need to do so that they can ultra-rapidly announce what they are doing, where and when - using a single smartphone. Ultimately we wish to enable users to make advanced commited purchases from businesses thru MapJam, enabling direct selling of offers/discounts through MapJam by these businesses; enable physical delivery; AND enable automated entry/security.
