Electrical/electronic Manufacturing - Tehran, Tehran, Iran
In 2017, MAPNA Group established the Electric Vehicle and Infrastructure Development Center, focusing on charging infrastructure and electric propulsion, at MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Co. (MECO), in order to developing electric transportation and reducing air pollution. The center introduce its products in the field of fast and slow chargers for electric cars and motorcycles after designing, manufacturing and performing accurate tests according to the international standard IEC61851. The center's fast chargers support three standards: CHAdeMO (Japanese cars), CCS (European cars) and GB/T (Chinese cars). Also, the upstream connection of all MAPNA chargers is based on the standard OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol). The MAPNA Electric Vehicle and Infrastructure Development Center has long followed the electric vehicle development programs and taken steps to create initial electric transportation platforms. The center has succeeded in providing in-wheel and central propulsion systems for electric vehicles and also various subsystems in the field of electric vehicles, which can be a vital step for the production of electric vehicles. Many of the key subsystems in electric vehicles at this center are designed according to international standards. The main goal of this center is to design and manufacture all parts of the propulsion system of electric vehicles and their chargers.
