Marawar – meaning ‘west' in Nyoongar – is an Aboriginal-owned construction and maintenance services business, providing a range of integrated design, construction and maintenance solutions for commercial and public sector clients across Western Australia (WA).Our services include:• Bricklaying, concrete works, roofing, welding, fabrication and waterproofing • Carpentry/joinery, plastering, tiling, painting, plumbing and electrical• Design-and-construct projects, from planning to project management and maintenance• Civil works, including earthworks, landscaping, retaining walls and road constructionSince our co-founder and Nyoongar landowner Gerard Matera established Marawar, our state-wide capabilities and workforce have grown and diversified significantly.Today, 55% of our workforce of Indigenous heritage – a percentage that will continue to increase as we grow.Moreover, our extended Marawar family includes local contracting and sub-contracting partners, many of which are also Aboriginal-owned businesses, operating in many locations across the state.Our portfolio of clients is equally diverse, including minor, major and civil works projects for organisations ranging from Bunnings, KMART, Wirrpanda Foundation, Quest and Officeworks to government agencies, councils, hospitals and schools.
