Marble.Vote is a blockchain app created by students at Harvard Law School in order to give a vote to every human being in the world. More technically, Marble is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization of smart contracts on the main Ethereum network, Homestead, that allows public Ethereum addresses to make "identity" arguments to those who have already been verified by others. The rules by which voters verify new addresses evolve based on what the majority of current voters think is the best way to do it -- however, both on and offline methods are always likely to play a role. The best thing about Marble, though, is that it is finished! We are launching the world's first FCO, or Final Coin Offering, to give people who believe in this system as much as we do the chance to invest in it in order to create value for the tokens that fuel it. The code is all opensourced (https://github.com/Marble-Vote/Marble), live on the Ethereum network (https://etherscan.io/address/0xb762a327203f57f2e1fe94049d4794b5a4271c6f) and the bytecode has been independently verified (https://etherscan.io/address/0xb762a327203f57f2e1fe94049d4794b5a4271c6f#code).
