Marcatects is an architectural firm based in the greater San Diego area. Taking a holistic approach, we focus on what makes you and your project successful. Established in 1974 by Joseph Marca, we have experience in a wide range of projects. We have pioneered to use of BIM (Revit) and have successfully designed projects using this powerful tool for over six years. BIM or Building Information Modeling is an exciting technology that was introduced nearly ten years ago. It takes the traditional 2D architectural drawings to a much higher level with information rich 3D modeling.We are committed to providing environmentally responsible designs which address sustainability concerns. Thus we are continually educating ourselves in new green technologies which we can utilize in all of our projects.
