MargaretAnn's Place has ended our services as of March 25, 2014. \Please visit our website for updates regarding services and additional contact information: www.margaterannsplace.org.\\\\To provide education, awareness, and support for children and their families who are grieving a death. We operate 3 main programs, all free of charge:\\Community-Based Family Groups: Open, ongoing groups follow the school year and meet twice per month in Milwaukee and Kenosha/Racine. Milwaukee meets at the Vision Forward Building at 912 N Hawley Rd on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Kenosha/Racine meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. The first Thursday is held in Kenosha at the Wesley United Methodist Church located at 4600 60th St and on the third Thursday of the month in Racine at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church located at 1700 S Green Bay Rd. \\Good Grief Groups: This program is our 'mobile' unit in which we take our groups off-site into schools, community centers, churches, or other organizational facilities that have children/teens who could benefit from receiving grief support. These groups are time-limited and are customized to each host organization. \\Camp Erin: A summer-weekend grief support camp for grieving children/teens ages 6-17. It combines the normal camp experience with specialized grief support activities to help bring healing to those in attendance.\\Family and organization consultations, presentations, workshops, and other memorial-oriented services are also free, available services for those who are interested.
