Dare to change... your mind, your life.We all respond differently to situations, people, stress, joy, and our lives in general. Some people go through their whole lives without wondering whether they can do things better, but others get the occasional niggle and wonder if this is all there is, until the yearning to stretch becomes so strong that they just have to do something about it.That's what getting help from a therapist is about: finding out how you can do things better.When you come to me with an issue that you just can't get your head around, I work with you to find out what you really want to achieve. We look at where you are now and where you want to be. I help you explore the way to get there and to tap into inner resources that you already have so that you can make lasting, beneficial changes in your life. My approach to therapy is a person-centred one, which means that I see you as your own best authority on your experience. I regard you as being capable of accessing the means to solve problems and for personal growth. I become, in effect, the facilitator of the therapeutic process and my tools are hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and counselling. I use NLP to help us to clarify your issues and discover what you want to change and how you will change it. I use hypnosis to take you to a comfortable place in your mind, somewhere safe and peaceful, where your unconscious mind can receive suggestions for change.
