On June 22, 2019 MARIACHI USA – the premier mariachi music festival in the world and only annual Latino-themed event at the Hollywood Bowl – will celebrate 30 years with the top Mariachi bands from the USA and Mexico, traditional folkloric dance and the legendary fireworks finale display that have made the event a cultural icon in the USA.Founded and created by artist/producer, Rodri J. Rodriguez, the festival pays homage to a cherished cultural tradition. On its 30th anniversary, MARIACHI USA will celebrate the rich tradition in which so many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans take pride, and which has secured its place as one of the most beloved music genres in world music. Each note of mariachi music explodes with nostalgia and history. "MARIACHI USA is more than a concert to our fans. Four generation deep families mark the event it as an annual family gathering. This year, MARIACHI USA will feature performances by Mariachi Cobre, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalítlan, Mariachi Campanas de America, Mariachi Los Reyes and Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalítlan, along with traditional dance by Mi Tierra Ballet Folklorico – and, of course our epic finale, featuring a fireworks display by Pyro Spectaculars. Each year, we welcome our loyal audience as well as new, young fans, which means we must deliver a cutting edge production that weaves the traditional with the contemporary.
