We specialize in working with automotive and aviation materials. Mariclaro transforms classic luxury car interiors and leather aircraft seats into unique bag and accessory pieces, such as wallets, laptop bags, purses and weekender bags. Each item is unique and tells you where the material originated. Just imagine a messenger bag made from the original interior of a 1982 Porsche 911SC.The materials we use are declared waste materials that are reclaimed and salvaged by us. Every year, we process tonnes of well-traveled automotive and aircraft leather, thousands of discarded seat belts, large amounts of truck and construction tarps and furniture upholstery.We understand Upcycling as a creative process of transforming discarded materials into contemporary and beautiful designs.
