Marin County School Volunteers Details
Marin County School Volunteers' (MCSV) purpose is to help Marin public school students (K-12) reach or exceed academic benchmarks through tutoring services provided by community volunteers. MCSV matches trained, supervised and engaged community volunteers with at risk students (both 1:1 and as classroom assistants) in public schools and after school programs throughout the county. Though the focus is on serving high-risk, elementary students, (Students living in poverty, English Language Learners and schools with limited parent support) MCSV provides tutoring support at any site, where a student is identified as in need of additional academic support.
