MARIO BOTTA ARCHITETTI is an architectural practice based in Mendrisio, Switzerland. Its founder, the renowned architect Mario Botta, began his activity fifty years ago, designing a wide range of building types including residential buildings, schools, banks, administration buildings, libraries, museums, theatres, wineries, exhibition areas and sacred spaces. The quality of his designs has earned him some of architecture's most prestigious awards. He has received honorary degrees in architecture from several universities worldwide. In 2016 Mario Botta Studio became Mario Botta Architetti to reflect the growing importance of the new generation of partners.
