The purpose for the Marista Wellness Network is to relieve suffering and to empower people to live well.We provide excellent products and services that empower people to manage health, wellness and fitness in the home. We intend to do this using wireless sensor networks, software, and the Internet. My impetus for starting Marista is my belief that our Long Term Care system as it currently exists is woefully inadequate. I believe we can deliver superior and effective care that is affordable and compassionate for people who are aging in place. With every passing day I become more convinced of this. We intend to provide a new way (well....new to most people) to manage health at home.
