MARITIME ANALYSIS LIMITED is a company that provides software to enable the real-time proactive analysis of maritime data in order to enhance safety. This is also called BOQA (Bridge Operations Quality Assurance) or VOQA (Voyage Operations Quality Assurance). The aviation industry has been using this system for many years and successfully improved safety and reduced losses as a direct result. A good reference would be the Aerobytes Ltd website as they were involved in the original discussions with RCCL and Carnival group.Back in 2010 Royal Caribbean approached Aerobytes Limited to see if software could be developed to provide the same level assurance and risk management to the maritime industry. I was heavily involved in that project and after Aerobytes decided to maintain it's focus on supporting the Aviation industry I decided to set up Maritime Analysis Limited to produce and develop the software. Good products are not planned, researched and created overnight and it has taken a few years and a lot of effort to get to where we are now, but we can now confidently offer the software as a major advancement in maritime safety. The software will work with live data from your vessels, NMEA, AIS and ENCs and provide a true overview of your fleet in real-time anywhere in the world.You can create standard operating procedures and rules for your vessels, including Geofencing and monitor the adherence or breaches from shore side via PC or Tablet as the software is web facing. As your database grows you will be able to see long term trends and utilise the tools available to reduce incidents and improve risk management.
