His experience in architecture includes working in the west-coast America and Iran. He'd been teaching architecture in many different countries such as the USA, China, Iran, Romania, and Spain. As a result, he always tries to make a bridge between academics and his professional practice. He founded Mohsen Marizad Architects (MOMAA) in the fall of 2020 in Iran. Currently, MOMAA has 2 branches in Tehran and Qom. MOMAA design and build several projects on different scales. The practice is not only involved in large-scale architectural projects but product design and academia as well. However, all activities are based on a process of experimentation, discovery, and implementation which encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and a bottom-up approach to design.Mohsen's design process is based on the understanding and discovery of systems and relationships which are derived from the project criteria and components, translating these systems into spatial organization diagrams in which the design is developed. He considers architecture as an organism whose various components are formed through a spatial organization diagram.
