It is named after the New Testament Gospel of Mark. We offer a quiet getaway from the busyness of life, as well as training for groups and individuals.The heartbeat of the MARK Centre is demonstrated in MARK 1:35-39, where Jesus awakes early one morning and slips away for a time of prayer and solitude. His schedule is full, yet he takes time for a short retreat, and the benefits are clearly evident. he faces the expectations of his companions ('everyone is looking for you') as his own purpose and mission are clarified through his time away ('that is why I have come').The MARK Centre vision is 'Leading people to intimate places with God where His voice can be heard'.
