Markelli Group Ltd is a holding company with interests in trading and manufacturing .The company focuses on the consumables sector – food, clothing and computers – within the West African sub-region. The company has evolved as a going concern over the years, moving from an initial focus on clothing in 2004, expanding to include computers in 2006 and finally adding food in 2009. Markelli also adds a youth development organization to its business to serve as its social responsibility in most high schools in Ghana. The company trades in food – rice, sugar, cooking oil and tomato paste and maintains many suppliers from the Middle East, South America, Europe and Asia. Its main customers come from Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Benin, Togo and Ghana. The main suppliers of the computers for Markelli's distribution are in North America. The customers for this segment of our business are only in Ghana. In manufacturing, Markelli manufacture and sells the Ice-ce brand of Ice Creams within the Ghanaian market. There are plans to expand into Juices and Biscuits.
