Airlines/aviation - Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, United States
mi-t.one is a cloud-based application designed to support airlines in making informed decisions in the areas of Market Positioning, Route Performance, Key Account Management, Interlining, and especially in Pricing. How does it work?Airlines feed AWB data directly into our database where they're aggregated on an airport-to-airport basis. The resulting trade lanes are then sorted out as per weight breaks (+45, +100. +300...), by the issuing agent, and finally broken down as per Product (DGR, Pharma, e.g.). Those key data elements make up the raw data that our application will transform into actionable information through carefully designed purpose-specific reports. And what makes MI-t different from IATA's CargoIS or WACD?First, one needs to realize how the two aggregate AWB data: While WACD relies on direct data reporting, CargoIS sources from billing data submitted to CASS, which generates a string of hot files to feed its DB. Because the two processes bundle AWB data as if ALL carriers were alike, Pricing or Market-share benchmarking can only be made against a single pool of airlines, namely the "Market". As a result, those competitors whose actions represent a greater risk are eventually masqueraded.MI-t, instead, breaks down that "Market" into more granular categories of competitors. This unique feature enables our users to fine-tune their strategies toward more meaningful competitors such as Peer airlines and/or airline JV's against whom they can measure their performance more effectively. For more information, write to us at info@mi-t.one
