With 11 years experience in the art world Marloes van Vugt developed herself as a creative, independent professional. With her business she consults in strategic matters concerning cultural entrepreneurship for (non)commercial organisations, specialising in marketing and communications issues. Her clients include, amongst others, Amnesty Netherlands, Matise Amsterdam, Patty Morgan, Generator Hostels.Prior to her current project management, she has been the director and owner of Bright Side Gallery from 2010 until 2017, located in the city center of Amsterdam. In 2017 she switched paths and turned over her role as a gallerist into an art consultant, advising private and corporate clients in the acquisition of contemporary art. From January 2019 onwards Marloes is responsible for marketing and communication of The Art Connector and the management and coordination of both of the arts societies of the company. She runs a weekly vlog about her own art collection to stimulate buying art in the Corona crisis and advises artists in PR/marketing matters.
