We provide building restoration with a main focus on Preservation Carpentry and the promotion of good quality building maintenance. We feel that existing building fabric is often valuable and worth analyzing as to whether the restoration of this material is practical. Antique wood has a durability that is better than most modern woods available. Reuse of materials is also a savings on the environment. The importance of restoring antique fabric is enhanced when you consider the architectural significance of this material. For these reasons we use epoxies to stabilize the failed components of wood along with other techniques, plus we analyze and correct the reasons for failure.
