A warm welcome to Marlwood SchoolAs the new Headteacher, I am delighted to welcome you to Marlwood School. Whether you are a student, parent, neighbour, prospective student or parent, I hope this website will provide a brief insight into our School and some of the amazing work and achievements our students and staff have undertaken.We are very proud of our successes and yet we are focussed on ensuring we become the very best we can be. Quite simply, we want to ensure that ‘hand on heart' we are providing a first class education for all students and that all of our students thrive irrespective of their starting point.We are a small and happy school where all our students are known and valued as individuals. Our school is based upon traditional values with a forward thinking vision. We believe that every child can succeed if they are challenged and inspired appropriately. A well balanced curriculum supported by a comprehensive extra-curricular provision helps Marlwood School students develop as rounded and grounded individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful now and in adult life.All our students are expected to aim high, work hard and be polite.
