Marna's Pals Details
Marna's Pals is a non-profit organization based in Princeton, NJ that aims to help NJ students in college, who have been affected by cancer in their immediate family. This is done through scholarships and support programs. Elizabeth Diaz and David Pal, started this organization in 2012 in honor of David's mother who passed away from Cancer when David was a Freshman at Rutgers. Liz and David wanted to give back to the community that had given them so much, so Marna's Pals helps students who are NJ residents. Since Jan 2013, Marna's Pals has awarded $2,500 in scholarships and plans on awarding another $5,000 by the end of the year.
