The roastery – situated in Padova, Italy – however has been producing coffee since 1949. MAROMAS came into fruition in 2005, as the brainchild of Dr. Massimo Hakim, Mr. Markus J. M. Bihler, and Mr. Dusan Stosic. These three old friends and coffee lovers - each having had longterm experience within the coffee industry - wished to concretize their passion for gourmet coffee, thus creating MAROMAS as we know it today. The six unique blends that MAROMAS Premium Coffee boasts originate from 18 different countries. The green coffee beans are hand-picked under the supervision of MAROMAS' coffee experts around the world and then brought together at the MAROMAS roastery in Italy to undergo roasting and blending specific to each bean. This process ensures the delicious gourmet coffee that MAROMAS guarantees. Today, the MAROMAS Premium Coffee headquarters - managed by Dr. Massimo Hakim - are based in Dubai, U.A.E., while the company holds 5 other offices around the world and exports to over 30 countries. MAROMAS acts as a distributer as well as supplier in the U.A.E., providing top-of-the-range European coffee machines and accessories for hotels, restaurants, and domestic use.
