I started this company after I quit my corporate job and went traveling for ten months in Southeast Asia, Australia, Mexico and Europe. I explored many things while on the road, and began a regular practice of documenting my journey through writing and illustration. I came home with a renewed interest in writing and illustration that gave me the confidence to continue the path of exploration.In September 2017, I started my business, Marpohl Illustration and got my first mural gig. That led to more murals and illustration jobs. Today, I am a full-time artist, working mainly with corporate clients to create custom commissioned artwork. My past clients include Sylvan Thirty, Lyft, Heineken, Wal-Mart, Lime, Uptown Dallas, and the Common Desk. I make the process smooth and collaborative, listening to your ideas and brainstorming together (if you want!). My goal is to produce custom artwork that we can feel proud to have created together.I'm known for my large-scale custom murals, but I am equally passionate about my custom illustrations and the things people have been able to do with them.I love the possibilities of creating custom branding and merchandise using my illustrations. Unique artwork can enable a brand to show off its personality, creativity, and boldness. My designs look great printed on t-shirts, banners, stickers, pencils, water bottles, you name it. And who knows where they might go next? And it's all very share-able on social media, which doesn't hurt anything. I've had designs go viral on Reddit and receive hundreds of shares. When that happens on a client project, it's exciting to see how far the images can go.I also enjoy providing artwork for people.
