Martell Biosystems is an early stage cancer diagnostics company introducing a novel serum test for the breast cancer marker HER-2. The test was developed at The U of Penn in Dr. Mark I. Greene's lab. Dr. Greene is also the clinical Oncologist who founded the monoclonal antibody used in the drug Herceptin to treat breast cancer. Martell Biosystems will be located in the BioBusiness Center building Rochester Minnesota across from the Mayo Clinic.
