Maruti shoes are simple but significant: clean designs, striking fashion prints and high-quality leathers. Maruti's roots lie in the Netherlands; in Weert, to be precise. Our shoe design is impelled by the passion for beautiful shoes and the excitement of working with new materials and designing our own prints. A small, dedicated team is working on the collection. From marketer and designer to intern, everyone thinks and creates together – like one big family. Our motive is simple: we "just" want to make beautiful shoes! In 2010, we introduced our icon shoe the ‘Gimlet': a women's shoe made from printed hair on leather, with an animal or fashion print, named after the cocktail of the sophisticated twenties. Because of the clean design, the furry look and statement prints, the Gimlet quickly attracted attention among the fashion in-crowd. As well as the successful animal prints, each season we add new fashion prints to the collection: storm splashes, metallic drops and dots. We deal consciously with our materials, and from the leftover materials we also create other products, such as bracelets, bags and belts.Because we work with natural materials and experimental washings, not one pair is exactly the same. This makes each pair of Maruti's unique. Maruti is a brand of Bos Group International in Weert, the Netherlands. The Bos Group consists of various companies, each with its own focus on the distribution and further expansion of the brands (Maruti, O'Neill footwear, Keds, Australian, Brooks Running, Babolat, Moving Comfort and FootBalance). Maruti's headquarter is located in Weert where we create new collections and oversee international sales and marketing. MAKE IT SIMPLE BUT SIGNIFICANT
