I have been an artist, as a hobby, for over 30 years and only recently has it become a nearly full-time profession for me. I never expected it, but demand has made it so and I couldn't be happier.I make functional pottery, but I am most fulfilled when I am creating altered pots and sculptural pieces that have no functional purpose whatsoever except to be beautiful--pleasing to the eye and evoking pleasure and deep though from viewers.It is my hope that I will soon be entered in a few juried shows each year as well as a few art and craft events. I love what I do. I am passionate about it and I hope that your experience of it is just as desirable and fulfilling!!
