Mary Manette Seafood is an award-winning PEI based boutique seafood smokehouse and artisanal cannery. We develop new and innovative value-added Canadian seafood products for retail and food service in both local and export markets. We source the same high quality Canadian seafood that my great-grandmother Mary Manette did over a century ago; her popular stall at the Halifax Farmers Market was knows for sparkling fresh, top quality seafood. At Mary Manette Seafood, we carry on this family tradition of freshness and quality. Mary Manette Seafood is committed to the long term health of our oceans and the importance of maintaining sustainable Canadian fish stocks. We support effective fisheries management as well as the livelihoods of fisheries dependent communities.All of our premium seafood products are sustainably sourced from cold, clean Canadian waters and carefully packed by hand using traditional methods. Our smoked tinned mussels, smoked tinned herring and smoked sliced frozen eel are currently available. Smoked tinned oysters and our famous lemon horseradish sauce are currently in development. Mary Manette Seafood brings the flavour and time-honoured traditions of Atlantic Canada to your table– wherever that may be.
