The Mary Meyer School, a fully licensed and NAEYC accredited, nondiscriminatory, independent, not-for-profit school, serving children aged three and four years old. The school offers two class sessions daily, morning and afternoon programs that each accommodate up to twenty children under the care of three teachers.The children learn in an environment of equipment and materials that are used freely and creatively with adult support and guidance. The goal of facilitating social, emotional, physical and cognitive development underlies all activities. The children learn to expect fairness, consistency, affection and respect from teachers, while discovering the joys of mastering skills.Mary Meyer teachers have welcomed children from throughout Chicago for more than 70 years.
