The Maryland Improv Collective is improv comedy with a foundation of fun, scrappiness, support, professionalism, creativity, and community. The founders and players have been working together in some iteration for over a decade. Members of MIC have created a variety of beloved Baltimore events, including The Stoop Storytelling Series, Ignite Baltimore, The Baltimore Improv Groupand Unscripted!We are committed to having fun and working hard on and offstage. We recognize that the risks we take in our improv should always be supported by our fellow members. We will always have each other's backs and not allow circumstances to reach a point that denies the pure enjoyment of improv comedy. We emphasize projects that allow performers of diverse backgrounds to shine.
